This is really sad news, I really appreciated them being a strictly LGB source. I wish they would tell us more about what's happening, I feel like they're holding back.

They're a one-year old news website, of course they will struggle for support. Yes, cancel culture is coming after them (and us, and LGBA, etc etc). They will need donations to keep going when not funded or privately invested in, totally understand.

There's some context we're missing, and I definitely feel it, there's something between the lines that's not being said. What it is though? Why drag LGBA for not offering *enough* support? Why not put out another round of crowdfunding/ask for donations again?

To close like this feels like giving up, and also like an extinction burst. There's something sorta attention-grabby about it.

Re the strife with the LGBA I wonder if it's partly diverging politics? David Bridle I believe is conservative and has platformed a number of conservative voices some who hold other views that aren't palatable to the left. I feel like the LGBA may want to be viewed as more left leaning.

This is complete speculation on my part but we've seen similar value clashes with WPUK (whose founders are left wing trade union) and the wider gender critical sphere.
