For anyone who missed it, it was right around the time, maybe just earlier, that the Aimee Challenor mess exploded. First FEBfems got banned, and then all my other subs, and then me (briefly).

Something that's fun (not fun) is how Redditors fell back on "well, it's because you squatted on subs". Willful ignorance of Admin bias and interpretation of rules.

There are fun subs that get squatted on, like r/amish or r/thingsjonsnowknows. But aside from humor, powermods squat on subs regularly - takeover and squatting is how we formed in the first place, we were at r/DropTheT first.

And later, Reddit even allowed mods to request to keep doing so during their purge of inactive subs in 2021. But lets pretend that the reason is squatting, not the subject matter.
