Oh you could have continued. There is this gem later on, about the acceptance of trans people:

One major part is that we’re actually more visible in gay porn these days and I think that has helped a lot

I don't think she realised they're there because they strongarmed limpdicked their way into "gay" porn. Can't confirm actual gay men watch it though.

It’s incredible how she thinks porn = acceptance.

No, nope.

The porn industry is literaly one of the most astroturfed things there is, as only a few companies own basically the entire market. This means that hey can push whatever shit they want regardless of actual demand.

Also, most FtMs ""gay"" pornstars are known to be very unlikeable, even by industry standards.

I'm curious about this, has there been a lot of ultimatums given to performers (i.e. demands that they be open to doing scenes)? Are people like Lily Cade outliers or just ones with guts/work secure enough to say something?

The only FTM performer I know of really is Buck Angel, who from interviews seems engaging, friendly, and surprisingly open to TERFery.

I don't know any specific cases, but the industry as a whole, specially on the "gay" side (most gay pornstar aren't gay and most gay studios aren't even owned by gay people), has a clear disdain to "close minded" people.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if there were performers being blacklisted for not wanting to shoot with FtMs because of this alone.

Yup.

The industry is a shitty monopoly, so there's a lot of incentives for people to keep their trap shut about things like this.

Also, they're into woke shite, very woke shite.

This is the exception, not the rule.

There's three which comes to mind when speaking about this subject: Noah, Luke Hudson and Trip Richards.

The first a literal example of yaoi-sick girl, which is funny considering she looks like a 13 year old "soft-boi". Also, her tweets makes me want to bang my head against a wall for 20 minutes.

The second one I know little about, but she is the way-to-go performer studios go to when they need to virtue signal about TRA talking points.

The third is an interesting case: like Buck, she went for the masculine, roided out look, but her voice sounds like a mixture of Donald Duck and a Muppet. She admited once that she doesn't have sex with men, or sex at all, outside of porn shoots, which is very revealing.

She is also known to be a really unpleasant person, even by TRA standards.

See I think that's one of the most depressing things about sex work, how little the people involved actually enjoy what they are doing.
