That was horrifying. It’s even worse when you know these are bottom tier surgeons who are doing this. Let’s be real, if you’re actually a good surgeon, you’ll have an incredibly well-paying post in a nice city at a reputable hospital. The only reason you’d be doing this is if you wanted money but aren’t actually good enough to make the cut. Tbh, I wouldn’t be surprised if it came out that these surgeons were all people who couldn’t even get into American med schools and went in the Caribbean instead.
