Wow, good to see this happening. Thank you for sharing!!!

Sometimes it surprises me that there have been way more lawsuits about gender identity ideology's threat to freedom of belief, rather than about its threat to physical safety.

There's so much of a battle around this regarding physical safety, that it seems like at the moment, all anyone can really fall back on IS freedom of belief ... in this case, religious beliefs (protected by the first amendment) and ethical beliefs (Hippocratic oath).

Seems to me like they're using what they can under law, and sorta sliding in ethics on the side to try to get people to wake up and realize there actually is harm that can occur. Or at least I hope so.

I keep saying 'this thing or that person will peak everyone', and here I go again: this will force the issue of pediatric transition into the public eye. Transactivists like to claim that 'puberty blockers' are harmless, and that surgeries aren't done on minors. If they object to this lawsuit, they'll have to acknowledge that medical interventions are done on minors, and the dubious ethics of puberty blockers will be (hopefully) exposed.

A pedophiliac president coercing the medical community to do trans surgeries against their beliefs? Wow I'm truly shocked. I have never ever noticed a pattern of consistent pedophiliac inclinations with child transitioning. Truly shocking /s

You can discuss your opposition to the person you replied to, but you need to do it without targeted insults and mass-generalizations. That's not the way to express yourself and have genuine conversation about issues. It not only breaks the rules of this sub, but also drags down the Pyramid, which SaidIt is founded on.

Be advised that ADF (which used to be called the Alliance Defense Fund) has pushed a homophobic agenda for decades, though. They are very much not our friends. Strange bedfellows in this case, for sure.
