All internet service providers in Ireland offer packages that include cable and packages that come without it, so I can save money and get the fasted broadband speeds possible if I have my own place. Some ISPs do force you to get a telephone connection with the internet, but it’s no big deal. I can do without a telephone, but telephones don’t shove fear and propaganda down your throat. Honestly, if I had to get a telephone, I’d get a modern cordless phone that I can use around the house and a traditional cordless phone in case there is a blackout.
