I know these people are detached from reality but can someone explain how wanting to be in a commited relationship with a sole partner as opposes to fucking several people is considered a 'privilege'?

They mean monosexual as opposed to bisexual. In other words, monosexual encompasses heterosexuals and homosexuals.

However,

can someone explain how wanting to be in a commited relationship with a sole partner as opposes to fucking several people is considered a 'privilege'?

they do also believe this. It's called "polyamory", as opposed to monogamy, and it's a super oppressed sexuality, part of the alphabet soup kweer side of the acronym.
