This author is not an ally of LGB causes.

The change came with the shift from “we have to accept gay people” to “every good person must believe in their heart that two people of the same sex can really be married”. From “people have a right to diverse gender expressions” to, “you must believe in your heart that trans women are women”. These are violations of conscience, the latter of science. But as I moved to the right, I did find it a stretch politically and culturally.

Apparently her acceptance of LGB people stops at believing they can be in a legally recognized relationship.

Prominent wealthy lesbians like Keryn Phelps and Christine Forster, who we couldn’t get off our screens during the same-sex marriage campaign, are nowhere to be seen when young lesbians are being sexually coerced.

People reveal who they are the most with these kinds of casual remarks.

Having her on our side of the road may make some conservatives uncomfortable, but they have to widen their tent on this issue or face extinction.

This is conservatism for you; the ends justify the means. They are not the least bit concerned about LGB causes and are happy to stay from their bigoted beliefs where it pertains to being useful to them to support their personal interests.

Those sections you quoted also stood out to me. It's interesting, because it does seem like the author is more a champion of "women" than specifically "lesbians" and is mostly using the example of what's happening to lesbians as an example of what could happen to all women if gender identity politics are allowed to continue.

I do see this, however, as an "enemy of my enemy" situation. She may not be an LGB ally (so I can't say "the enemy of my enemy is my friend), but what she's saying in the article does have merit and ultimately, I think that it's not a bad thing that feminists are getting sick of the gender ideology thing, too, and how it harms women.

As gay men, I think we have it a bit easier than lesbians do right now as far as the TQ+ goes. Gay men might have some women fetishizing them and shaming them for not sleeping with said women that pretend to be men, but it doesn't seem quite as threatening to me as the stuff that trans women are pulling with lesbians. So, I think it's okay that maybe this author doesn't see eye-to-eye with LGB on everything, because I feel like LGB people (and especially the L) need allies for this specific issue desperately, and every bit helps.

I agree with this. As a heterosexual male who discovered the unfortunate bullying of these mentally disturbed males on lesbians, I was horrified. I've always sided with the LGB when it came to same sex marriage & acceptance of two men/women being together. The "T" are basically trying to (with big money behind them) demolish language as we know it & attempt to destroy biology as a means for NO ONE to have personal boundaries. Lesbians have been outright bullied & shame into accepting idiotic, delusional, & nonsense catchphrases as "girl cock" or "lady dick". I started VEHEMENTLY siding with lesbians & telling anyone who would listen, what the "T" was attempting. Gay men, straight men & women are definitely not exempt fom these crazies, but they have a special hatred for biological women (because they know the can never be one).
