Ah yes, the old "my personal experience without any evidence is the reality for everyone else" card. We have entered the post-reality. Truthfulness is now determined by how many victim points you can gain and what level oppressed you are.

I'd like to recycle my own comment here:

I myself have never been stabbed, and I don't know anybody who has. Therefore, knife crime does not exist.

Replace with guns if across the pond.

Joy Reid, American political commentator, actually used this logic when discussing the rising crime in just about every major American city. She essentially said that since neither her nor none of her friends had been victimized, that it was way overblown and the result of people just being racist. She still has a show. Unreal.
