Any other sane anime nerds here? Weird how so many people with this interest gravitate toward queer stuff considering it’s rarely present in anime/JRPGs/etc. It’s like... if there’s a cute anime girl Japan wants to be with her and the US wants to become her lol

Got one right here. I generally shy away from people on dating sites that say they enjoy anime, though. They probably watch shit like that horse girl series.

I watch anime occasionally. Maybe a season or two every few months.

Interesting observation. Japan and some other east asian countries can more accept 'cute' interests for both sexes and associate it less with gender expression. In many other countries including the US, Masculine usually means Hard and Ugly; And Feminine means Soft and Cute(And god forbid you should ever compliment another man's looks because that's deemed high soft). So if you like watching cute stuff and characters in anime and you're not feminine in other ways that means you be some gender-bending queerio and so you must then support the full gamut of gender ideology to not be a hypocrite.

Yes, but I pretty much only watch shonen (Naruto, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho). Apparently these male "queer"/trans types are interested in "slice of life" or "healing" anime, which is best described as "cute girls doing cute things" (there are some animes that would be considered "slice of life" but aren't about "cute girls doing cute things", but said animes are a minority). The target audience is males who feel the need to "heal" from the pressures of masculinity. These animes often border into fetish territory and repeated watching and jerking off to the material can lead to gender dysphoria and AGP. There's a ton of these types at my school (STEM school, ever heard of "programmer socks"?).

Cute girls doing cute things would be fine if they were grown ass women, but these are usually teenage, sometimes pre-pubescent girls.

Yep, it's disgusting. These guys have some nerve to admit they like that shit.
