LGB News[Legal] Dear U.K.dians, am I able to read court case trials from your database? I'd like to read about the Gareeca Gordon case but am having trouble searching for it.

Very fascinating case. Both because is a woman behaving like a man,doing typical male case. And because is a black woman killing a white woman, something makes me believe if had been other way around, they would have specify the race.

Hmmm, I'm not aware of the racial relationships in the U.K. to say why race wasn't mentioned. She appears to be biracially mixed and since she's from Jamaica and came to the U.K., it seems likely.

In America when white lesbians harm black people, race isn't mentioned. In fact the cases are often swept under the rug such as the white lesbian couple that drove their van off a cliff killing their adoptive biracial black kids whom they were also abusing(in which the authorities ignored even when numerous neighbors and teachers filed complaints).

I've read and heard of women violently raping other women but to kill, that is so unique.

Never heard of awoman raping another. Killing for rejection is such male thing. Weird the case didn't get more exposure even abroad.

I don't know, maybe just don't give much exposure to minority crimes, whether they're homosexual or racial minority. Like the trans who likked the lesbian couple and their son.

Well, it depends on whether or not you search. Female on female sexual violence is rarely ever brought to the public. Also many countries don't recognize it as rape since there's a lack of penis. Nothing will come up if you search rape. If a woman is lucky enough to report it and the cops don't laugh at her, she'll get a sexual assault report. Most times, it's just an assault claim.

Trans women who committ violence usually get attention, the media(in America)often runs with it which is a surprise. So transwomen who rape and kill are often talked about.

When I was first looking into Gordon's case, at first people were saying she was trans. Even though she looks like your typical biracial woman to me. Once it slowly started to become apparent, it was a female, the conversations stopped.
