Agreed. I don't know any self-respecting Gay or Lesbian person who calls themselves "Queers", it's just either Bisexual or Straight people who do this and they don't seem to comprehend how stupid and ridiculous they sound when they say it and that includes calling the Gay community the "Queer community". We Gays and Lesbians, at least the ones who have self-respect never called it that.

Homosexuals: a century and a half from the first neo-Classicist Hellenophiles, establishing secret organizations or living on the margins in large cities, subject to persecution as criminals to the point where, at the height of anti-gay sentiment and public policy, authorities tried to put any place we congregated out of business.

Gender specials: Now that the LGB did all the heavy lifting, I can change my pronouns and become "queer."
