love the commenters pointing out that these "gay" trans men only showed up after rights were won, and played no part in gay history. ain't that the truth. if that's not enough to show people how much of a farce this whole thing is, I don't know what is. and yet still some gay people simp for the T. make it make sense.

TRAs could argue that trans people were closeted and/or apolitical like a lot of LGB people were/are. A lot of minorities / marginalized people in general are cowards who have never fought for their own rights and liberation.

Fortunately, I've seen a lot of gay/bi women at rallies/protests. 🥰

I can see that argument. Still, despite many LGB people being closeted and/or apolitical, there are still plenty of historical records documenting our existence. "gay" trans people are a recent phenomenon... although I guess TRAs would just argue this by trans-ing historical figures - more often than not women who were trying to escape their gender roles, or cultural "third genders" which were assigned to homosexual or feminine men as a way of othering them - since they love rewriting history so much.
