I read Masha Gessen's heroic profile of Strangio a while back. It was hard not to throw up. This guy (he doesn't identify as a man even though he wants us to use male pronouns.) Let's try again, this female actually has a terrible credit score because she cowers in her apartment in fear of overdue bills because the bills are addressed to her original (female) name. Imagine that! She could pay her bills, but she's like "nope. deadnaming kill my credit score."

Such a disgrace that this person is the public face of the ACLU. I highly recommend the new "Mighty Ira" documentary about what the ACLU used to be.

I was a donor to the ACLU for decades. It's a crying shame that complete goofballs like Chase Strangio are now its face, but even more of a shame that the organization itself has been bought by the gender lobby and hollowed out, in order to use it as a Trojan Horse for the gender agenda.

And I'm not making this up: I spoke with a lawmaker's office who had supported a bill allowing men who self-identify as women into women's prisons - guess who convinced the lawmaker that this outrage was a good idea? The ACLU.

I had to relocate back home for the pandemic and have wound up in an unofficial caretaker role with my aging boomer (70s) parents. I cringe whenever I see continued fundraising appeals from the ACLU and and "hate reports" from the SPLC. They seem blissfully unaware that these orgs have been hollowed out and seem to lack the ability to distinguish between liberalism and wokism. I can't run their life, but it really bugs me that they could ever give another red cent to these organizations given what I know about them.
