"When someone tells me "I date cis men but not trans men" I hear "I don't consider trans men masculine enough to be attractive and I don't think they're real men". I cannot fathom any non transphobic reason to have this preference, you're just going to exclude a group that is commonly perceived as invalid while including men who are never doubted as men? The only possible reason in regards to attraction would be that they don't consider us masculine enough to be attractive. How is that not transphobic?"

Orrrr maybe their saying they are only attracted to male genitalia and male bodies...which you do not and cannot ever have???

It’s almost as if the typical physical characteristics of a particular sex plays a role in attraction. Who would’ve guessed?

What I hear is "I am attracted to men." That could be coming from a straight or bi woman, or a gay or bi man. All I hear is "I am attracted to men."

Who told these people that the definition of "man" and "woman" was up for debate? Because it is not.
