Actually American beauty standards are very high but most don't meet them. I'm originally from Shenzhen and the standards there for women are tall, long skinny legs, white skin, high nose, big eyes, thin face, full lips. That is basically the opposite of most Chinese girls. Just because most people don't meet the beauty standards doesn't mean that the standards will get lower.

Itìs the same standard we got in Italy. I totally meet the face beauty standard. But totally miss the body one. Since I'm super short, with short legs and pear shaped. But in USA beauty standard for female body isn't hight at all. Height isn't important for a woman. Actually, short girls are considered usually better than tall one, since tallness in masculine feature. Men got it worst. Height seems to matter too much in USA for men. Heightism in China is really akin to racism too, even in the workplace. I prefer Japan. Japanese culture love tiny things.

In China tall women are seen as gorgeous Goddesses and everyone admires their height, but Chinese men don't want to be with a woman who is tall or taller than them because they will feel less manly. Shorter women are more desired by men there too. I think that is just a Universal thing.

Yeah, even in Italy shorter women fare very well. It's just gender roles thing. A lot of men feel more protective toward a short woman. Even tall onese prefer short women over tall women often, and that makes hetero tall women hating on short women for stealing men lol But definitely here in Italy height for a woman is much more important than in USA. I heard japanese people are shorter than chinese and in general shortness is considered a positive trait because it makes you look younger, and youth is very important in Japan, especially for women. It is just a cultural thing. If I wanted to move in Asia, I would definitely love Japan. Much better than China in every way.

You say a lot of stereotypical things about the USA, and now Japan and China too. Not to be rude, but I think your knowledge of other countries is very limited.

Like what? Everything I say is quite factual as far as I know.

But stereotypes are not facts. They are just generalizations and beliefs. If you are Italian does that mean you love pizza, don't shave your armpits, have a close relationship with your family, have greasy hair, speak with your hands, love football, have a big nose, are super religious, etc?

I love pizza and eat pasta almost daily, I think parents relationship is the most sacred, I speak with my hands quite a lot . So some things are true :D
