Mine does too; she was a working dog and had not really spent any time around women when we got her. She was nervous around women for a while (including us, at first), but has always been very friendly and excited with men.

My husband and I adopted a dog that apparently hates men, probably because of past abuse. It's been quite a journey for her to be adopted by two gay men and learn to love us. She loves us both fiercely now but still hates other men. Now you might think of it as a bit cruel that we adopted her under those circumstances but we didn't know about the gender specificity of her fear/hatred (she was fearful of everything when we first adopted her) and also, she'd be dead now if we hadn't adopted her.
