I'd like to argue that, both morally and logistically, woque homophobia is worse. This is because the old school homophobia stems from a system that oppresses its followers and forces them to live in fear of an all powerful deity. Those who fear a supposed god can be claimed to be actually attempting to protect us from their fake deity, not to mention that, in their minds, they have divine will on their side. They honestly believe that an all powerful being hates us for existing (despite the logical fallacies there)

The woke homophobia, however, is different. The most immediate difference is that they are not obviously homophobic to outsiders, so neo homophobia can hide and even gain support from the uneducated and uninvolved. And then there's the reasoning alone: while old homophobia was about a sin or crime against god, new homophobia is all about crimes against gender ideology, a purely self obsessed and narcissistic ideology that has crimes against man-coochie or girldick.

Both are abhorrent, and both need to be eradicated, but one pretends to be our friends
