    Cultures with a third gender essentially think like this. It's no surprising that genderists think the same.

    Yeah this makes total sense. The same reasoning is why MTFs that are celebrated are almost always the most stereotypical ideal of a woman.

    I've met conservatives that don't hold such rigid views of gender roles and stereotypes as TRAs do.

    The sensible response would have been "they are all men, everyone is equal!"

    Indeed! That's the funny thing, if you follow their logic then the original poster did nothing offensive. "Trans men are men", so by comparing Elliot to another man he'd in theory be validating Elliot as a man.

    But clearly to them "everyone who identifies as a man is a real man" is only true for transmen. Comparing Elliot to James is offensive because they don't see James as a valid man.

    The one who said "looking like a gay man" was incredibly homophobic in this remark too, and somehow got 500+ likes for it.
