I never liked JK until she started tweeting. God bless that menstruator woman.

Woke, non-binary, queer Vox 'journalist' doesn't agree with JK Rowling.

Dumbledore wasn't queer enough. She took away my safe space. Feeeeeeels

I await the BBC's corresponding 'I ❤️ JK Rowling' podcast.

People forget that these are children's books. We don't need to go into detail about an old man's sex life regardless of who he was fucking. This is a children's story about an 11 year old boy who finds out he is magic.

I don't understand why they're making such a fuss about it. If you don't like the book because it doesn't cater to you? Cool. Don't read it then and go entertain yourself with something else. It's not hard. You don't see me whining about every book/show/movie I couldn't get into because it wasn't to my tastes. Nor do I condemn things based on the maker, even if I really don't agree with them or dislike them. I think the Wachowskis are both idiots and also shitty people but if someone I know invites me to watch the Matrix I'm not going to go on an angry rant about how it's a sin to consume media from people who are EEEEVIL.

I mean, if it's THAT bad, you can always just illegally obtain a copy of the book/tv show/movie/whatever so you're not monetarily supporting them. But that's not even good enough. Apparently just touching anything JK Rowling has ever made is enough to "taint" you.

I think celebrity and fame attracts a special breed of shallow, entitled dummies. They build up a fantasy about what these celebrities are like long before they click "follow," and then have a meltdown if their pets act like a human person with their own ideas instead of a PR robot or the wish-fulfullment object that they were expecting.

This is link to listen to a radio programme that was just on BBC 4, it will be available within a few minutes of this being posted.

I caught the end live, haven't heard the full thing yet but figure people here will be interested.
