I got a bot warning that my language was verboten. Not even sure what word I said that triggered it! Trying again:

So she's back to that word "preference," but when Amy Coney Barrett (did I get it right? I thought only serial killers had three names. ha! insert joke here) -- when she said it, people freaked out.

Why can't the transgendered (I hope that word is ok?) people understand same-sex attraction is attraction to one's own sex, which is immutable.

Chopping your hair and breasts off and not wearing makeup does NOT make you a man. Having breast implants and wearing makeup does NOT make you a woman. Why are we still having this conversation?

Whatever happened to the breast cancer ad campaign that basically said having a double mastectomy does not impact a woman's womanhood in any way? I think that's a fairly relevant point to this issue... What makes a woman a woman is not any single trait, but the potential to develop all the primary and secondary sex characteristics.

"Chopping your hair and breasts off and not wearing makeup does NOT make you a man. Having breast implants and wearing makeup does NOT make you a woman."

This, so much. They're literally reinforcing ages old gender stereotypes because it's the only way they have half a chance at "passing". I have short hair and never wear makeup, still a woman.
