Plenty of us here. Growing up I always just stayed away from the 6,000 gender types but it became harder over time. Somewhere in the last 5 years, homosexual became "attracted to everyone who uses the same pronouns as you (unless you're a weird genital fetishist and only date cis men)*, I started being told that I was transphobic for not wanting a relationship with a trans guy because "You have no idea what they're like! For all you know, they could be 100% identical to a cis guy with a real dick and everything!" Hmm..

I still know and have known trans people who are cool and recognise that their crossdressing/cosmetic surgery doesn't make them the opposite sex, but they seem to be a dying breed in the world of increasingly radical trans activism.

I'm not even sure this is the root of the problem. It seems younger generations (at least in western civilizations) are being taught that their inner feelings are more important than anything else in the world, including other people's inner feelings OR objective reality.
