I really don’t understand how people push transition as a cure for homosexuality though. It’s just being gay with extra steps and more emotional hardship. So, not only does it not actually solve the “problem,” but it harms the subject even more so.

For context the lesbian deleted the post but she was saying that she wants to run away from it with things like getting into a fake straight marriage or becoming a trans man. But she said that she knows she’s a lesbian and just isn’t happy with it. Then this happened, everybody got mad, lesbian deleted post...

Update: checked on the post again. the trans people are all soothing each other saying they did nothing wrong and that the lesbian was just unreasonable because she’s so mad about her life. they’re all saying she wasn’t being fair.

Damn, I am so feeling her. I run away from home after school. Married on a man, and later was trying to "cosplay" a boy. I met so much hate around, and no one supportive, and that was from conservative open homophobes. And girl searches help "within her own community" and gets same treatment... It is horrible and heartbreaking.

I hope someone PM'ed her with help and support.

I wish there were better communities for detransitioners and women with gender dysphoria.

I used to use r/detrans and got constantly accused of being a liar or a fake detransitioner by transwomen who acted like they were trying to help, when they were obviously taking advantage of weak people.

This happened to me just recently. I was talking about some stuff about how I wish some of these clothes for men would fit me like they fit men (like, my body form is obv different, I just wish they used those designs for women's clothing; we were talking about two specific shirts they'd linked) in an online chat and the woke-y "lesbians" started asking me "Would you like to be a man? Do you feel like a man?" and I just went "hell no!" and the only reply was "Mh, maybe you're not trans, then. But keep in mind that this might be dysphoria."
