I agree. I'm a sane anime fan and these trenders are annoying. Looking at the TV Tropes page linked above, I am having Envy Gender War flashbacks. I could argue that most of these characters are just unrealistically intersex or that some characters just like to crossdress. I get concerned with anime characters looking so young sometimes. I refuse to watch a lot of Slice of Life Highschool crap, because the characters look about 6. Ew.

Yes, I have. And as an anime fan, it hurts that not only are people using anime for weird shit. They are using weird anime for weird shit. Gives us normal fans a bad name. I would say Asexual is part of LGB, because it's a sexuality (more like lack of) that differs from the norm. The oppression faced by Ace people from what I've learned is from the world's mass expectations of getting married, having kids. Oh, thanks. I guess the internet makes me feel like a crazy nazi or something. Because yeah! I DO care about sexism as a WHOLE and I DO care about jobs. Why has the far left moved on without me? I want to stay where I am, but how can the left leave people like me in the dust? (note: progressive dust). I am FOR most of their policies, but NOT to the extreme. I still believe in being colour-blind and all the things I was taught growing up, but now, it seems like it's ALL backwards. I hate it.

'm hetero. I was witnessing #MeToo outrage from the same libfems, who supported rapey "Suck my girldick!" comments to lesbians. Hello, Cognitive Dissonance!

YES! This is the huge hole I see in the whole thing. #metoo doesn't apply to EVERYONE and so it's not as useful as it could be. It's so weird how backwards things are. Massive Cognitive Dissonance for sure. If #metoo was really meant to work, it would apply to everyone and not be used against people who did slightly 'weird' things. It's for straight up sexual assault, not 'I'm uncomfortable.'.

Because I want to help young teen boys to have a loving home and I feel like they need just as much care as a girl. I just know that teens tend to get left behind in the system and I always have just seen myself with a son. Donno why, but that's the future I see.

Yes, but just make sure it's its own state. So, you can make the laws. I would suggest making a house-party network for lesbians. Because of laws.

I love what you wrote. I don't think you're my generation, but I agree with what you say and yeah. Women aren't going to be hired over TIMs, which makes me sad. And ID politics in the workplace drive me crazy. Thankfully, I think I will be going into a more conservative profession.

metoo did get overrun and that's why I am torn if I like it. It quickly felt like a witch-hunt occuring to anyone who ever did anything wrong. And You're right. No one would care about lesbians or gays. :(

I am on Ovarit and I will post this there as well. I am glad to know i'm not crazy. I just feel like i'm wearing a tin-foil hat all the damn time. And you might be right about the Tech Companies. To me, it seems like a cost-saver as well. TW don't need maternity leave and period sick-days. I am also wondering if females will only be able to go into 'female' jobs like teaching once this is all over. It worries me.

And I HAVE heard of TIM OBYGN. It's NASTY! Thankfully I haven't needed to go to a OBYGN. But, yeah. I honestly would rather have a MALE OBYGN than a TIM.

I wonder how long this will roll until women are like, "OMG! My job was taken and I can't raise a sex-discrimination case."
