Whilst I greatly appreciate Ricky and his support of JK, I wish he had never, ever liked that Tweet. A few hundred RT's and 2.8K likes later, I am now mentally drained. I'm being called transphobic left and right for simply asking a question, receiving no genuine responses and am being bombarded by the typical trans twitter accounts that have an underaged anime girl as their pfp with insults, harassment and degradation. I don't want to link the Tweet here due to lurkers, but it's out there and you may be able to find it.

I never truly realised how awful these idiots were until today, how people can support the T movement with people like this representing it is astonishing.

Don't even read the replies. (I know, easy to say, hard to do.) You are right and they are wrong and that's all that matters. I'm sorry about that, don't let it get you depressed. The only thing I can say is that i truly believe the tide is slowly turning. I've read dozens of posts on different sites from men and women who recently peaked solely because of the abuse JK Rowling was getting and many more from gay men who are being harassed by trans men. I visit many different site, both straight and gay and unlike a few years ago, lesbians are fed up, gay men are beginning to get fed up and women are becoming disgusted by the amount of rape threats other women are getting for stating an opinion. It may be a slow process but the more they push and bully the more people are going say "fuck off".

Imagine being part of that crowd that does the life saving important work of policing celebrities' likes on Twitter. Must be the most exciting part of their day to finally be able join in a woke dogpile on somebody for saying the wrong thing on the internet. Hey dude-- I'm really proud of you for speaking up. I wish I had the guts to do it. It might not seem like much consolation, but I bet people who are also being harassed by TRAs saw that tweet and really appreciated that there are other people out there who care, too.
