Trans men are not ready for gay men to bring it. If gay men start taking this seriously the TRAs are going to be running the other way. I’ve been popping corn for this for years. Keep telling gay men what they need to do in their bedrooms, honey.

Gay men have been, and still are, are religiously condemned, beaten, jailed, murdered, transitioned, etc all over the world, for fucking other men. Like, that’s the reason. It’s stupid. If these transes think they can do this to guys indefinitely they are wrong.

This is what I don’t get. I keep hearing about all these privileged “cis gay males” when the vast majority of gay men in the world live in fear of bodily harm and redditors are from all over the world. Even in the U.S., gay men can’t be out and proud without some fear or concern in most places. Read the room, idiots.

Oh, but didn't you hear? There's a popular drag queen show on TV, so that completely negates the homophobia and lack of acceptance we have to endure. Now that cis gay men aren't oppresed anymore, the community must focus on the ones who are really being oppressed and need a voice, like, I dunno, the heteroromantic asexuals who aren't being denied any rights.

I wish I was just joking but I've actually seen people saying that we are the privileged ones of the community and that we need to give space to asexuals' fight lol

People don’t like now irreverent gay men are, and how they don’t spend their time fixing the world that hates them. Some are privileged, sure. They tend to be able to make more money as couples, probably because it’s two men and there are many advantages to that if you work in specific industries and choose not to have kids, or are single, I suppose. But writing them off as a group that has an easy time hasn’t grown up with gay boys as friends.

It is intersectionality taken to it's extreme conclusion. According to twitter...

Cis gay men are the straight white men of the LGBTQIA+ community.

and also something I've been hearing recently

Straight black men are the straight white men of the black community.

To these people, homophobia has been solved. Gay marriage is legal in English-speaking countries, therefore we have ALL the privilege.

I am sure that it's a complete coincidence that it sounds so much like the folks who think "racism is solved" ...

They got ahead of that argument by making up some ridiculous bullshit about white colonists inventing biological sex with some noble savage ideation and somehow that was able to successfully link them up with Black Lives Matter because no one has brain cells anymore or any concept of history. At the very least, it looks like these tactics are peaking more black women, but they have enough to worry about as it is and it's hard to tell because my black female friends were not into BLM or trans activism to begin with.

Anyway, I'm still wondering where all the transbians are in non-white majority countries and where women's rights are abysmally poor. Has anyone ever heard of a transbian from Saudi Arabia?
