Keep in mind that men like Philip Schofield were in denial when they got married to women. Even Lindsay Graham never got married to a woman. Styler may say that he's happy, but marriage is not like an amusement park. You spend a day at the park, not forever. Marriage is supposed to be permanent. So it's clear that Skyler does not truly comprehend what he's signed up for. If this is what he wants to do with his life, he's an adult, we can't stop him. When you say "who knew A would be more controversial than B?", it's implied that you think B is a clear issue, while A isn't an issue or it's a smaller issue. It makes no sense to use this expression if you think B isn't an issue at all. No one would say "who knew politics would be more controversial than chocolate?".
