I am still sad about young people, as they grown up with the idea that this is a correct way to go, that this is how LGBT works. All they ever saw was TQ+ agenda on twitter/reddit. And maybe she is just butch lesbian, or masculine straight, but her mind is infested with all this dangerous TQ+ agenda, and most likely she just ruining her life by following them. If "non-binary" agenda is only hurting their minds, T agenda is hurting their bodies, to a point that it can never get fixed back.

When I was most active in our LGB communities 15-20 years ago, we were saying to young people - it is right to be as you are, you should not blame yourself that you are different, you should be proud of being who you are, you should not blindly follow gender stereotypes and just be yourself. Fix your depression by accepting yourself as you are.

And what this new TQ+ agenda is? Literally opposite. "If you are not in gender stereotype - you are queer/nonbinary", "If you like something different that your gender stereotype says - you are transgender and must follow opposite gender stereotype", "fix your depression by pretending you are someone else and with hormone-drugs", "you are not free to express yourself, unless you are nonbinary". Cages and chains everywhere.

It’s very very hateful of the self to feel you were born “wrong” or “in the wrong body.” These kids don’t have any love to counter it, like gays and lesbians did. They think they have to change their wrong bodies to even be loved, and everyone else is AFFIRMING IT. they have no chance. It’s horribly sad.

When I came out as a lesbian, I was told I was “wrong” and “going to hell” and a sinner etc, but I had proof of love to counter it. I loved women and knew love wasn’t wrong, and my gay guy friends loved men and that didn’t seem wrong either because it was LOVE. Eventually the people who judged me stopped judging me because they couldn’t say love was “ungodly” either. It’s just not. It adds happiness to the world.

These kids don’t have what we had, others like us to look up to for the truth. All they have is a broken community that barely makes sense, and nothing else to choose but full submission of the self to belong. It’s horrible.

a broken community that barely makes sense

It reminds me about anonymous alchogolics circles, but instead of helping each other to overcome their troubles - they instead going full on alcohol and only making their problems worse.

The sad/confusing part of this is that I've seen young women ID as male but in fact be on the feminine side- mannerisms, etc. They think bc they wear 'masculine clothes' that's all there is to it.
