Sadly no.

The progressives need some excuse to kick STEM subjects to the kerb because black Americans suck at them (as a group). No matter what interventions were tried there's been no closing of the gap in performance.

So maths has to go...

Well... I mean you might be right, but... How much further can they go? This is literally the final step from 1984. 2+2 = 5. Its the rape of the very idea of logic itself.

Several academics from institutions around the nation chimed in. Harvard Ph.D. candidate Kareem Carr suggested that math should be reevaluated because it was primarily developed by white men.

Fairly sure the Arabs invented algebra (al-gebra) and we are using Arabic numerals derived from Sanskrit (India/Pakistan). The concept of zero came from mesopotamia.

You'd think someone called Kareem might be better informed.

Every civilization with trade and a complex administration developed maths.

That woman and her ilk are grade A dip shits.

The reason there's so much dislike for the maths is that there are very obvious differences in achievement between groups. Maths also proves there's virtually no racism involved in cops killing arrestees, or in incarceration rates.
