Sigh, you have a point. I have to think about this. My problem is that I've seen a lot of stuff where it wasn't a joke. You know, maybe my brain's been diseased by Reddit.

It's ok, get out of that mindset. Maybe add a rule that requires a "/s" or something just to make it easier.

Regulating sarcasm seems like a bad precedent to set.

It's not regulating, just make it madatory to point out that it's not some edgelord being edgy and causing controversy in the community.

It's just to make sure that everyone's happy.
