We will be facilitating movement between here and Reddit (as well as Poal for now).

They are incomplete, ad hoc, and basically interpreted by me alone as a dictator until I can establish a proper, well defined, rule-set. They are similar to Reddit's, but loser. As if it were last year. Expect them to change.

Trump is not beholden to any special interests, like any President to emerge from the traditional party establishment is. Therefore, Trump puts the entire system of graft and corruption at risk, because he doesn't owe anyone favors. He won't allow lobbyists to write policy, or to dictate regulations. Most importantly, he expects the government to represent the interests of the American people, which is to say he expects that gigantic bureaucracy that runs US Government agencies to put US interests first. As we have seen, large swaths are more interested in damaging the current President than doing the job they were hired to do.

Is the rule against posting manifestos in service of a site-wide? I think it's important to be able to read and discuss them and can be done without "glorifying" the acts.

I feel like it isn't. Agreeing with it might be a violation of the site-wide on violence (ie: "those people deserved this"). But, at the same time, posting the manifesto may be criminal in some places, so I'm not sure. Probably ask magnora7.

This is, incidentally, why the rules need to be fluid for now. And why I'll probably loosen them more as I understand the rules better.

Historical events and documents are perfectly allowed as long as the people posting them aren't glorifying the violence, like you said.

On saidit, if you're in doubt about removing something, err towards just leaving it alone. Which I think you've been doing so far pretty well.

Wasn't 100% sold on SaidIt based on the AMA but a few things I do like:
1. Down vote removal. Good theoretically but rife with abuse on large scales and for individual actors, Internet karma inherently breeds mental illness and cannot be trusted.
2. Built-in night mode theme. Reddit website requires using RES, at least for old.reddit, can't speak for the cancerous site redesign since I don't use that.

The "insightful" versus "funny" delineation might be for the better, too, provided it is strictly limited to that. If new categories arise, like Discord's 1000 emotes-per-comment because people are retards, then I will jump ship.
