I left for the same reason - some subs I lurked in got taken off and I have an intense aversion to de-platforming people. In a society where most communication is taking place on limited platforms de-platforming people isn't technically censorship, but the end result is very similar. So I have no interest in giving ad revenue to reddit anymore. Welcome to the site!

I agree with you 100%. These are scary times we live in. I was on a sub today and was scrolling a comment thread and every time someone tried to answer this user’s question, it was automod deleted. There must have been like 15 different comments trying to answer this poor guy and 15 automod overrides. It was then that I noped on out of there and decided to give this site a shot. Thank you for the welcome!!
