Is mobile data fast enough to replace a regular connection? I'm considering switching. I did try it but often got disconnected from an online game I want to play. (And the game doesn't even use that much data, I think it has issues with staying connected for a longer period of time.)

You still have time for distractions like games?

I have no other source of internet in my house. The cell phone hot spot through a USB cable is fast enough for me. Videos download very fast, fast enough to stream. I am happy with it, but the cell phone company puts a limit on how much data I can use per month. The current limit is 15 GB per month. I caught Microsoft Windows eating up a big chunk of that data, but with the changes I made to the firewall, the data leak is much less.

I partake in a quick game now and then and chat with friends in the game. I no longer partake in tournaments despite being one of the top players. It just isn't interesting for me.

There are unlimited data plans which are still cheaper than a regular connection. I don't know the situation in the US, which I assume you're located in, but over here it's very flexible. The connection gets cut off after around 10 GB daily usage and even after that you can extend that limit by 2 GB with one text message. And you can keep extending it. Your connection just gets interrupted after each 2 GB until a new day starts when you get 10 GB again.

I used to be a gamer, but now I regret wasting so much time.

Yes, I am in Babylon, shortly before its fall.

Your daily data limit is almost my monthly limit!
