Within the sub scope it's meant to focus on the policy/technology/culture/company/academia goings on. So users as a group and their activities are considered culture, though favorably in relation to the above or just the internet in general.

This does leave room for (DIY)guides etc.

This sub is intended as a 'general' sub for Internet related stuff, so it would be weird of I, Mnemonic would be the only moderator, especially as saidit is growing and potential moderation is required!

Our computer has wasted internet hotspot data. So, I set up new firewall rules to stop unwanted traffic. 🧱 A "warning" pops up from Microsoft complaining they cannot see what I am doing. It can't verify if it's "safe" or not.... I remember hoping they were protecting us. 🤔
