Yep, I was recently looking for the international commerce data from 2017 with "COVID-19 test kits" being shipped in the hundreds of millions of dollars' worth (in 2017!) and... It gone.

Archive.org responded appropriately by ending the NEL, which related only to a few hundred or at most, a few thousand books. Archive.org did not act in bad faith. Publishers and authors have a right to be concerned about their books. Archive.org has cooperated with their requests, it seems. It's a very good commentary, though we should not be as alarmed as the speaker seems to be. There are several other important sources for digital resources. Archive.org should be safe.
