As a counter point, I've recently started using Google search (through startpage.com) more because DuckDuckGo (Bing) results have been shit lately. And before you get on my case for using DDG and StartPage, I know they're not great companies but I've tried Brave Search, Mojeek, Presearch and others and the results just didn't cut it.
Try searx
They removed some important image search options, such as filetype or exact size. I often get better results from Yandex.
You're not that far but its not dying, it's just not useful anymore because the internet has gotten much worse than when Google was new and now ISP servers destroy most of your results while Google then filters what's left until all you have left is ads, distractions, unrelated websites and maybe one or a few results related to your search.
Google dominates no question. Not even close to dying.
That's what they said about the malls.
Though we all appreciate you chiming in to defend the interests of one of the world's biggest, most powerful corporations. Good for you!
I'm not chiming in to defend the interest of the blah blah I'm stating facts.
And yet that's exactly what you did. In an article about skepticism of Google, you immediately dropped in to defend them.
Do better.
Are you stupid?
No a wahabi
The day bing became more useful than google was a dark day indeed.
https://teclis.com Teclis is a search engine for finding interesting, unique results on ‘clean’ websites. Teclis is an attempt to surface the less known web, the web of creativity and self expression, the more humane web.
https://millionshort.com Remove Google’s top sites from the result. Remove the top million, top 100,000, etc.
is also really good. Very weird, but interesting.
Teclis looks really cool, thank you!
