christian values don't jive with current western values anyway. xtianity can be used to sow and deepen division among them.

I don't care what religion people practice (or dont), the main thing is azn xtians should not look to the west as their spiritual leader. They should have their own leaders.

Regarding spiritual development, even fellow goldens should not be "leaders" to their fellow goldens.

Goldens should lead themselves in spirituality by sticking to the essentials: don't cheat and be honest, don't steal, don't be jealous, don't k*ll unnecesssarily, forgive if you want to be forgiven of your own mistakes as long as you and the other person don't repeat the same mistakes or try not to, be selfless within reason while refusing to be exploited at the same time, etc.

Setting examples is okay though and this would be the right way to "lead".

Other than that, every single person, golden and non-golden, has to learn how to stand on their own by developing a relationship with the most high being or universal energy or whatever it's called.
