Search up Paris Syndrome on wikipedia. Some japanese tourists have had such horrible mental damage, that when they see that their illusions about Paris being a 'civilized and superior place' got shattered, they decided to volunteer for free to clean up the streets of Paris so when other Japanese tourists visit it, they don't get their illusions shattered as well. Some of the tourists end up getting very depressed and even killing themselves when their illusions about the stupid west gets shattered.

They're mentally weak, this is agood way of cutting the chafe off the wheat. In reality, most Japanese and Chinese people are chauvinistic, racist against foreigners, as should be the case.
