What do you think about the vaccines in the west like moderna and Pfizer–BioNTech. Apparently some people in the west where having serious side effects from these vaccines.

I havent made a fully conclusive decision about it and its difficult discussing these types of topics with people that dont have some sort of science or medical background. When you talk about side effects you need to compare the rate and severity of side effects from the vaccine versus actually getting covid and statistically the actual covid infection produces more severe and more often side effects (you can google it and research).

Furthermore, those vaccines are based off mrna technology which china is also developing as well. Mrna cannot change your dna, the dna is a molecule stored in your body's cells, the mrna content can't even enter the cells where the dna is located. Its job is to develop only the spike proteins of the virus which your body's immune system will recognize and learn to build defenses against it (T cell/ B cell responses).

However my issue with these vaccines and their idea of dealing with covid is general is that these vaccines aren't a proper solution. The virus can easily mutate and change its spike proteins, especially if it has a wide variety of hosts all around the globe including all kinds of animals constantly getting infected. So every year they try to generate new updated versions only for it to immediately be not rendered that effective against catching the infection because a new strain comes out. So what should people do then? Keep on boosting forever every single year? Sounds like a moneymaking scheme to me. Also there CAN be significant side effects if we have to boost like a dozen times, it can cause things like myocarditis to some people (especially if they get repeated doses), so what becomes of the risk reward ratio of getting covid or getting boosters constantly? Sounds like a lose - lose situation to me. The west also has a history of doing unethical experiments so there is also some element of distrust there
