requires long-term care facilities to assign a room based on the patient’s gender identity

I am waiting for some brave, smart GC woman with a brave, smart GC lawyer to challenge this kind of policy on the basis that she doesn't share a gender identity with any male person. The policy is predicated on the belief that TiMs can say they identify the same way that female people do, and that the role of female people is to reflect that self-image back at them. This is not just sexist - it's completely incoherent, and I want to see someone try (and fail) to justify it in court.
