Hold up, a 51 year old man married her when she was 16?

"They/them/theirs," Stodden wrote alongside a selfie. "I don't identify as she or her. I've never felt like I ever fit in anywhere. I was bullied horribly in school because I was different. The other girls never understood me. It got so bad that my mom pulled me out of school. And still, I don't fit in. I never really connected with anyone my age."

So her mom couldn't pull her from a middle-aged man too? Smfh

Yeah, there's clearly a backstory of trauma and family dysfunctionality here. I found it interesting how she even refers to herself at one point as a 'child-woman'. There appears to be a desire to escape a traumatic history, and possibly unhealthy male attention, yet I can't think of anyone less 'gender non-conforming'. What is 'non-binary' even supposed to mean at this point?

its "i'm not like other girls/boys" syndrome on steroids so basically sexism + narcissism on a bed of mental issues.

I've asked too many non binaries what it meant and the few that replied always had an answer based on sexist stereotypes while trying to gaslight everyone around them that it's not about sexist stereotypes.

At least trans people make a fucking effort to play the victim. The nonbinaries just pick a label and bitch about being oppressed.
