The GCers who put up the billboard are asking for support.

Wimmin: Your Tell A Friend assignment for tomorrow, should you choose to accept it, is to contact the bill board company (company name at OP link) and ask them if they've read JK Rowling's statement on this topic and if not why not. And if they have read Rowling's statement, what was transphobic about what Rowling said.

For extra credit points, call the Vancouver City Council member (s?) cheering on the taking down of the billboard and ask them the same questions.

Then tell them that you're boycotting Trancouver and Tranada in general until the city and country learn what a woman is and how to respect women's rights.

Canada (or at least certain provinces thereof) has been tooting the horn on the Vengabus of Trans for some time now. It definitely appears to be more woke than either the US or the UK, which is a shame, because I used to think that Canada was a kind of ‘best of both’ between the two, with a soupçon of France thrown in.

Canada, or Tranada as I've seen Canadians call it, is very far out in terms of mandating gender ideology in what seems to be all aspects of life - schools, athletics, rape crisis centers - it's like Canadian society is deeply misogynistic under that polite veneer.

However, all the Canadians I know think this extreme gender activism is rubbish, so maybe it's just the politicians pushing it. But then, why don't Canadians fight back?

BC has always been super 'woke' and it's was the origin of trans movement here in Canada. It started there and slowly spread across the entire country before we even knew what was happening.

Apparently a male teenager who thinks he's a woman has filed a complaint and it will get taken down. Imagine this : hundreds of women demanding the right to self determine and retain their boundaries, and a boy gets the right to just thwart it. The wants and needs of a teenage boy are more important than our rights.

Billboard: "I love a famous woman who spoke out for women who have no audience/platform and need all the help they can get."

Transgenders: "HATE! Stop the HATE! Violent hateful message! Burn it down! We're all dying here from your HATE!"

You know, I'm an idiot. I know nothing. I have no sense. Complete buffoon. I'd be waving that pink-white flag of theirs and shouting TWAW as much as everybody else, if they stopped being completely irrational cultists for 12 goddamn seconds. But they can't stop themselves. Just to clarify: the poster was actually put up by a woman, Amy Hamm, and a man, Chris Elston - not just by the man on his own, as the thread title above claims.

Amy Hamm is a brave GC feminist who has is leading the good fight in Canada, and she has stuck her head above the parapet before. For example, she reported the goings-on at the Yaniv tribunal hearings live via Twitter. Yaniv retaliated by targeting her, reporting her to the police on a spurious charge (Yaniv said Hamm sexually assaulted him in a ladies loo), slandering her and, IIRC, making vexatious allegations against her in court filings.

Amy Hamm deserves as much credit as the "GC father" here. There's enough erasure of women going on nowadays already; let's not add to on this forum it by overlooking her involvement in the billboard and giving all credit to the man as though he did this on his own.

The initial report I read was that the man, Chris Elston, put it up. Maybe he paid for it?

But Amy Hamm, who is a SHERO - she has done so much work for women in Canada at great risk to herself- was very much involved.

I read (has to be verified) that Hamm was getting threats while the man was not.
