An Edinburgh branch of the Lush cosmetics chain put a massive sign in their window following an 'act of hate' at their store.

Edinburgh Live understands stickers with a 'transphobic message' were stuck to the shop window following a small gathering of self-described 'gender critical feminists' nearby on Sunday.

In a social media post yesterday Lush Edinburgh said: “Anyone passing our store this morning you may have seen that our store front had been targeted by a transphobic group, because of this we have a new window graphic.

“We just wanted to let everyone know the following - ‘Please do not enter our store with signs of Covid-19, Racism, homophobia, sexism or transphobia!’

“Our store is a space for compassion and respect for all, and we will not condone or support acts of hate.

It always bothers me when places/people say they won't allow homophobia, sexism AND transphobia. Like... transgender ideology is sexist and homophobic.
