I don't know if we're at crisis point yet, but we're getting there. People still can't even bring themselves to say TW are men with a mental illness or fetish. Exposure to their ideology and TRAs makes this blatantly clear, but people still can't even bring themselves to say this. Saying this is still the ultimate sin- even in a lot of GC spaces. I think what's most likely to happen is that there will be a hard right swing, and all the TRAs will pretend this whole timeline never existed. The same way Conservatives pretend they ever supported Bush. The people hurt will be people with legitimate GD who TW and TM were actually for, women, POC, gays and lesbians, and immigrants. We (people from those groups) looked to allies for support, and instead they took social justice and used it as a playground where they could play self righteous heroes for karma and likes. And they even dabbled in "being oppressed" by co-opting our experiences and turning them into identities they could put on. I don't mind when GC feminists partner w/ the right and use their resources and platforms, bc the left is just as much against us. But the right will NEVER be on our side, either.

Yes, they need these teenage girls to be boys and grow into trans men. They need them to pretend that we're erasing women for their benefit, when we all know its so men who identify as women don't have to face they're not women. When trans boys and men detransition, it brings the truth to light. You can't change sex and female people get treated like shit by society solely for being female. Nobody (the left, right, and apolitical) wants to face female oppression this bc sexism is so deeply ingrained in our society. This also destroys the whole trans narrative as you said. And bc TRAs can't address it, they try to erase it like they do with everything else that exposes their lies.
