That feeling we've been having, like we're living in the twilight zone or some insane parallel reality? Like is anyone SEEING THIS??? I think that surrealism is coming to an end. It doesn't happen overnight, but it is inevitable that this will come to an end.
Reality is reality. You can't force dangerous make-believe on the entire population. You can't silence this growing crowd or keep us from noticing what's going on.
I was full of worry. I worried that money and power can do anything it wants with us as a society.
I worried that it's not our acceptance or rejection of this movement that even matters because engineered social change is implemented with the long game in mind, so the real goal is the younger generations who don't know any different.
The goal is to keep bypassing and censoring criticism and spreading sympathetic propaganda to keep the masses blindly supportive while making sure the kids are targeted, raised in this delusion, learning twisted, politicized biology in schools, and so on.
The brainwashing of younger generations to secure this delusion firmly in society was my genuine worry and not at all far-fetched, as I realized once I started hearing a deluge of stories about the insane gender confusion among young people:"I like this but I don't like that--am I a boy or am I a girl?" Are you kidding me? Then I remember how vulnerable young people are. I remember that sensitive time when you're forming opinions with partial information about the world and you haven't even been alive for 2 decades and your brain isn't developed, and you take in whatever worldview you're taught. I even remember reading someone say she actually stopped perceiving male and female.
So sometimes this has felt like a battle that could be lost in the long term. Except... those kids have parents. And those kids have teachers. Doctors, psychologists. You can't force this change on society without the participation of many, many actors in the society. And many of us are not going along. More every day. Won't organizations have to fall in line once they start losing public support that they depend on? Keep being loud, strategic, clever, organized. It gets shit done.
I'm feeling optimistic because I'm seeing so much push back. Twitter rising up after the GC purge on Reddit, the Guardian loudly losing support on twitter for its TRA narrative at the cost of women, Joe Rogan's latest podcast. And JK Rowling deserves so much credit for ushering into the mainstream what was supposed to go unsaid.
All the people that "just didn't know" won't be able to just not know anymore.
Most of us are supportive of the overt narrative until we know better: let people be who they are! But you can't play on our sympathies for trans kids when we see evidence that many trans kids are manufactured, detransitioners exist and are in pain, women's rights are being thrown under the bus, etc.
The next big thing will be the fetishism aspect and mainstream attention to that. If doors keep getting cracked open, that's going to have to enter the room as well.
Thank you JK Rowling, and all the brave, no-nonsense feminists whose shoulders she stands on. Thank you Reddit for purging GC views and thus drawing more attention to GC views, and angering many more people out of hiding.
And of course I can't end this without thanking TRAs themselves for causing mass peakage with their inability to conduct themselves appropriately or in good faith. We are winning.
