Ok. Think of a playground. Think about children getting into an argument on why Charizard has the best... whatever the fuck he has. Another child perks up with, "NO, Eevie (or whatever the brown one with the squirrel tail is called) is better and has "insert pokespell here". They dole it out, and one of them decides that because that other kid has another opinion that's different, they don't want to play with them anymore ever again. And they definitely don't want to talk about Pokemon with anyone else who thinks Charizard isn't the top shit. It's the covering of one's hears and screaming "I can't hear you!" of the adult world.
