Hitler lost because of his racist stupidity. But the average IQ of the Weimar Republic was still much higher than of today's America. Humanity has just become hopelessly stupid, so I don't see any quick solutions.

Wrong. If he hadn't been racist, he would have had the atomic bomb first which was mostly developed by Hungarian Jews. Of course Judaism is a horrible religion, but these "Jews" were not part of that religion so there was no reason not to support them. Hitler should have wiped out the rabbis and left the racial jews alone.
