A new paint, partially made from discarded oyster shells is able to reflect 90 per cent of the sun’s rays away from a building. This results in an average temperature reduction of 6–7 degrees C.

This may be a new version of ultra reflective paint, but the paint it the equivalent of being in the shade.

If you put this paint, on an object in the shade, it would likely feel cold.

It reflects tons of the sunlight, so it doesn’t get hot from the sun energy.
