The bastards. Why can we not simply die quietly, with a damn good Cuban cigar?

They are quick to apply epidemiology to tobacco, I wonder if they would so readily apply the same to their beloved prescription meds.

They've been at it since the 70s and its been very successful. I remember ashtrays in planes and supermarkets, now people are trained to be repulsed by the smell. You'll never see the kind of histrionics over say, campfire smoke, as you do with a person lighting up.

We're just peons polluting the elite's world in their eyes. They can still smoke I'm sure. Tobacco will become as vogue as cocaine.

It's bizarre. The same organisations have no interest in saving lives by making things like insulin a reasonably affordable price for American citizens, something which is literally free in much of Europe, and yet they target smokers. Cheap shot, blame the smokers for healthcare system issues, not the system itself.
