...aand there it is. So easily the contempt for the little people comes out.

"Oh, it's easier for me if I can travel, even though that's something that ordinary people can't afford! And the fact that this freedom of movement works the other way and greatly harmed the working class by putting them in competition with desperate people means nothing to me. Let them eat cake!"

Man, okay I’ll be honest I’m checking out of this conversation because I’m not gonna keep commenting on and giving attention to some far right nonsense 😂 I left Reddit because of the extremism in both directions 😊

It's not far right, but that sure is an easy slur to sling to avoid thinking about the causes of Brexit.

The working class never uses the "freedom of movement" and yet the upper middle class does. When the working class votes in its interest, the upper middle class is absolutely outraged and unleashes a torrent of bigoted, classist abuse as we all saw. You punch up, not down, and yet there were educated people with Ph.Ds shitting all over the little people in a fury of spite.

Honestly all levels of class use the freedom of movement and you do know that’s true but are pretending it’s not. TyanAir flies anywhere in Europe and has made travel across Europe easy. Brexit is only going to remove opportunities for the British, not create them. But I hope that that £350M a week thing sure works out once Brexit goes through because... well it’s not looking very likely 😂
